The Captain

Norbert Bauer

Born in Germany, married to a Dutch woman, I have been living in the south of the Netherlands (North Limburg) on the banks of the river Maas (garden wall = flood dike) for almost 40 years.

After we had the Water of the river Maas in the house twice - in 1993 and 1995 - we bought our first boat.
It was a Boekanier kruiser, Bj 1975,
7,15 m x 2,45 m x 0,80 m, steel with the name 'IJsvogel' (King Fisher).
And then ... boats grow too ... it became the ALK.
